The sites around this region are going to be separated into two areas the Northern & Southern Costa Blanca with the dividing line being the Alicante Airport heading inland. This will by no means be an exhaustive list of birdwatching sites but should include all the major ones. However if you feel you can contribute with an article on any local site to where you live I will gladly add it to the list. The authors knowledge is fairly limited on sites in the southern half of the Costa Blanca so any help here would be greatly appreciated.

The descriptions will follow the same format starting with 'Getting there' (hopefully including GPS co-ordinates), Site Layout (including basic topography of the area), and 'What's to see' (including timings & other wildlife found on the site).
