I did a walk of about 250 mtrs each way along the River Segura in Benejuzar. The area was teeming with birds mostly common but just before returning to my car I entered a small wood of conifers and found 30+ Siskins, some were feeding on the ground 20 mtrs. from me. The following is a list of all the birds I saw including the common birds.

Blackbird, Blackcap, Bluethroat, Chaffinch, Chiffchaff, Coot, Collared Dove, 4 Booted Eagles, Little Egret, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Hoopoe, Cested Lark, Linnet, Moorhen, Meadow Pipit, Black Redstart, Robin, Serin, Southern Grey Shrike, 30+ Siskin, House Sparrow, 12+ Tree Sparrows, Spotless Starling, Stonechat, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, White Wagtail, 8+ Cetti’s Warblers, Fan Tailed Warbler, Sardinian Warbler, Woodpigeon, 3 Iberian Green Woodpecker.
