On my ‘patch’ not a million miles from Mutxamiel, this a.m.:-1 Trumpeter Finch, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Black Wheatears, 1 Orphean Warbler and a Thekla’s Lark in full songAll in about 40 minutes – longer would have meant heat-stroke!!
A couple of Googly eyes, i.e. Stone Curlew and nice to see a Roller come back to its nest at Pallet Road. These were the highlights seen amongst other things.
A few photos from today. We also saw a Red Kite and a Golden Eagle but couldn’t get photos of them.
