Sierra Espuña yesterday. Two Golden Eagles seen, one adult and one young bird, but they were infuriatingly distant. Also, some extremely showy Red-billed Chough in the area.

Today whilst having lunch on my patio a Wood Warbler sat in my neighbors tree for several minutes.
This morning along the Segura in Rojales a few Nightingales had arrived. Hopefully, they will be followed by the numbers that arrived along the river last year.
Four new birds for my year list today. At El Hondo Squacco Heron, Sedge Warbler, Alpine Swift and by the old monastery 2 Bee-eaters total count is now 171.
