A very unusual sighting for this date – a juvenile Purple Heron! Not much else, just a Bluethroat, a Booted Eagle (only one!) and 6 Green Sandpipers.

2 Greater Spotted Eagles, 1 sub adult and 1 juv. 1 immature Golden Eagle, many Kingfishers and still some Reed Warblers about. Thurs 29th – 1 Alpine Swift flying around my villa (a very late bird).
