Yesterday in our pine tree a Subalpine Warbler, today an Icterine Warbler.
Jim has sent in a few photos taken from his garden (in the countryside near Arneva, Orihuela) .
Probably not too notable, but at least 200 Common Swifts passed over San Vicente last evening, heading northeast.
A few more pics from the garden today. The Blue Rock Thrush was singing in the tree for 30 minutes but unfortunately the light was poor. Red Rumped Swallows on a rooftop.

3rd April – No.46 this morning Black Wheatear. 7th April – Two new birds this week, 2 Stone Curlews, and Woodchat Shrike.
On my very restricted dog walk to the top of my road this morning I saw my first Woodchat Shrike of the year and a Cuckoo plus a Cirl Bunting.
Another small group of Alpine Swifts over head today. Good numbers of Glossy Ibis 20 – 40 most days flying across the fields below my balcony. A few pics of Hoopoes from my balcony this afternoon.
