Managed to sneak an hour at the Clot. In front of the ‘once-dry hide’ a Savi’s Warbler held forth for a long time, showing himself only briefly. There is ample evidence that at least two pairs of White headed Duck have raised broods there, and there were plenty of Squacco Herons and Little Bitterns.
