At the Clot, where works on the main lagoon are showing promise, a big surprise: a Black Kite, no less. Also, on the Charco de Contacto, a lovely drake Pintail was with some 70 Shoveler (80% male) and a similar number of Teal (in and out all the time). A Great White Egret was on the main lagoon despite the machine, and a Booted Eagle circled with the kite.
