El Hondo – Darren Wilson

posted in: Birders Reports | 0

Grabbed a couple of hours at the Observation Tower at El Hondo before the morning cloud melted away. Had 729+ Greater Flamingo, a Short-toed Eagle being escorted by a pair of Kestrel (which were utterly dwarfed by the gorgeous Snake Eagle), 3 Marsh Harrier, 2 Booted Eagle, a noisy group of 40+ Bee-eater shot through, 33 Marbled Duck, 50+ Glossy Ibis, a Black necked Grebe, a Green Sandpiper and a Ringed Plover.
