Not a good start to the morning! Went to pallet road but the Crevillente to El Pinet run was on so hordes of runners and police about. On round towards the Monastery road, things started to get better, Little Owl, Roller, Bee-eater, Great Spotted Cuckoo. On to the PFT for Cattle Egret, Little Egret, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Squacco Heron, Night Heron flying through, Reed Warbler, Glossy Ibis, Southern Grey Shrike, Woodchat Shrike, Goldfinch, Greenfinch , Black Winged Stilt, Avocet and Buzzard.
