Had my first Great Spotted Cuckoo, near Muchamiel.
At Monnegre Barn and Red rumped Swallows have taken up residence.
The big news was that I saw no less than 17 Griffon Vultures around the Peña de Migjorn (between Jijona and Tibi) and at least one pair going to an obvious nest site (one bird wing-tagged) It doesn’t need to be kept secret, I think, because you’d have to be a suicidal nutter to get anywhere near!
