On 20th August, CBBC President Barry Chambers presented AHSA General Secretary Sergio Arroyo with a donation from club funds of 400 euros.
AHSA is involved in developing a new wetland reserve, colaborating with agriculturalists, and with the Valencian Community, in the Carrizales de Elche.
So far over 100 trees have been planted, a rudimentary bridge has been provided to facilitate access, and work has started on a viewing screen to provide visitors with views over the reeds and lagoons.
