Another great days birding on the Costa Blanca. Dozens of Collard Pratincole at El Pinet. Booted Eagles and Purple Gallinule at El Hondo. And then I found a Roller by the old monastery.

Guardamar del Segura this morning by the river. A lifer for me a Western Subalpine Warbler I watched a pair for about 30 minutes. Also a Woodchat Shrike, all by the footbridge over the river.
