Dec-3

Dec-4Sometimes we forget what a real pleasure it is to be in Spain in the Winter. Within a few days we have enjoyed eating lunch at cafe Pena Grande in Santa Pola, while watching 8 Turnstones, 4 Sanderling and a Ringed Plover running about on the beach. A few days later and a quick walk round El Clot found us looking at, amongst other things, Teal, Shoveler, Chiffchaff, Robin, Marsh Harrier, Sardinian Warbler, Black Redstart and Snipe, all on a lovely, warm sunny day. Today, after a walk along the seafront, we sat on a bench at Urbanova watching 6 Crested Larks feeding on the beach in front of us. Happy Days!
