The proposed trips for the first half of 2017 are:-
Tuesday 17th January – Mar Menor area
Wednesday 22nd February – Vistabella Centre, Rocio and Elche
Thursday 16th March – Pego Marsh
Thursday 6th April – Yecla, Caudette, Villena (Bustards and Sand-Grouse)
Wednesday 19th April – Tabarca Island
Tuesday 9th May – Santa Pola Salinas, Palm Farm track. Crevillente (Bonelli´s Eagle)
Please note that we are planning two trips in April, as there are usually some good birding sites then, and have dropped the June trip when the weather is too hot for a full day outing.
Additionally Malcolm is planning a four day/three night trip in February to Andjuar and Cazorla with a two night stay in the first one and one night in the latter. The main targets will be Lynx and Eagles. This trip will be discussed at the December AGM.
