Had a walk around El Hondo at the Sant Felip Nero end this morning. Forgot it is a bank holiday weekend here. Never seen so many people – usually have the place to myself! Still managed to see plenty though:-
Over 500 Glossy Ibis (probably many more than that as they were seemingly everywhere), 400+ Greater Flamingo, 6 Marbled Duck, a Purple Swamphen, 60 Moorhen, 2 Marsh Harrier, 1 Osprey, a Peregrine with prey, 2 Booted Eagle, 4 Kestrel, a Black Redstart, Dartford and Sardinian Warblers and a Robin!
