San Felipe Reserve – Darren Wilson

For the time of year, a surprisingly quiet stroll around El Hondo today. Highlights included a Short-toed Eagle overhead, a Hobby hawking insects and two very confiding Isabelline Warblers along with plenty of the more usual species like this Squacco Heron. I have heard there is a Wilson’s Phalarope at San Pedro del Pinatar saltpans.
