As Malcolm suggested the area at the first hide is rapidly drying out but a lot of small waders still remain including Temminck’s Stint, several Wood Sandpipers, Ruff etc. Along the track there were 3 Whinchats and my first autumn Bluethroat, a stunning male. A good number of Bee eaters were also still around.
