Today Paul Garrett took Carol and myself to Sierra de Bernia to look for Alpine Accentors, after a 2 hour walk over rugged terrain gaining a thousand feet we arrived at the area where they were recently seen and fortunately we saw 3 Alpine Accentors, a lifer for me.

Birds seen – 3 Alpine Accentors, 3 Black Wheatears, 3 Ring Ouzels, 20+ Red Billed Choughs, 1 Peregrine, 1 Stonechat, many Crag Martins and Sardinian Warblers, 2 Greenfinches, 1 Robin.
