Sightings – Ted Humphreys

Ted Humphreys – A beautiful Harris hawk is frequenting the road from Florantilles Camping near San Miguel to Montesinos. I have pics of it which shows metal attachment on legs but no Jess. It has been around for at least 3 weeks. There were 50 avocet, a Bluethroat, Swallows, and Crag Martins at el fondo along with Black Necked Grebes in summer plumage.

Editor’s Note – The Harris Hawk has been seen many times since December and is believed to be owned by a falconer who lives in the area.
