Torrevieja – Barry Chambers

On my way to the hospital this morning I passed a field where 50-60 Gull Billed Terns were feeding over the crops. I visited the Azure Winged Magpie site but no sign of any. There were dozens of small love bird types of parrots/parakeets, half were green orange yellow and rest were blue grey and white. It was like being in Australia. Hope they have not put the Azure Winged Magpies off. Monk Parakeets were busy nest building. Also 2 Stone Curlews and more Gull Billed Terns.
