On a minor road between Vistabella and Catral there was a Booted Eagle in a tree. A Sociable Plover was with a Lapwing flock in a farm field on the other side of the fence at the El Hondo Visitor Centre. As you exit the walkway over the water from reception the birds were in the agricultural field in front of you at ‘one o’clock’ and over the fence, they are very skittish and easily disturbed. Several waders were about and large numbers of Flamingo and Shellduck.
