Today we had a quick walk round the Clot. The scrape held Teal, Black winged Stilts, Coots, Swallows, White Wagtails, Little Grebe, Moorhens, and a species we haven’t seen there before, 2 Little ringed Plovers. At the main hide John managed to get a photo of a Swallow gathering mud from the edge of the pond. Serins and Goldfinches were in evidence and a Little Owl was seen peeping out of a tree. We didn’t stay long but had a nice walk on yet another lovely sunny day.
