During our visit to Sierra Espuna, we spent more than 2 hours sitting on a dry stone wall watching Ring Ouzels flying from the pines to a feeding and drinking area, at any one time there were probably 15+ in sight but it would be impossible to state a total. While watching the Ring Ouzels a group of 16 Ravens circled and were calling overhead, we probably saw 30 Ravens during our trip and at the same location a group of 30+ Red billed Choughs could be heard and seen constantly.  A surprise visitor among the Ouzels was a single Redwing.

Species list – Cirl Bunting x 2, Rock Bunting x 6, Crossbills, Booted Eagle x 1, Golden Eagle x 2, Short toed Eagle x 1, Goshawk x 1, Peregrine x 1, Siskin x 3, Redwing x 1, Ravens x 30+, Red billed Chough x 50+. Plus 22 more common species.
