A walk from my apartment today around the local ‘campo’ produced my first Golden Oriole of the year, a Woodchat Shrike, a Bee-eater, 2 Common Tern and at least 6 Turtle Dove.

I was hopeful of seeing something up the Monnegre Valley this morning – Zilch. Even the drinking trough was dry. Did see 5 Griffons mobbed by a Peregrine at the top of the road, otherwise, nada!
