Benejuzar – Barry Chambers

posted in: Birders Reports | 0

I took a 90 minute walk along the Rio Segura at Benejuzar and identified 39 species plus 2 warblers I couldn’t ID. Here are a few of what I saw. Bee Eaters, Cuckoos, 4 Turtle Doves, 1 Pied Flycatcher, many Tree Sparrows, Nightingales singing every 20 metres, good numbers of Red Rumped Swallows, 2 Wood Warblers great close views, Willow Warbler, 2 Cetti’s Warblers on the path 5 metres away, Pallid Swifts and Woodchat Shrike etc. Alas I left my camera at home!!!!!!
