Driving back from Santa Pola today we were pleased to see a Blue Rock Thrush on the roof of the old house at the start of the beach road. It has been seen there before but not for a while. It later moved up to the rocks in the scubby area below the cliffs. We also saw a Black Wheatear there, and the usual Audouin’s Gulls and Turnstones were on the rocks and the beach.
