Last weeks highlights were 12 Razorbills at Guardamar del Segura, a Yellow Wagtail on the Palm farm track. Also 9 Red breasted Merganser at Lo Pagan.
Yesterday we headed to Cartagena. Firstly we found the Hume’s Leaf Warbler again. Then onto Cabo de Palos where we saw Shag and Gannets. Next to the Salinas de Marchamalo Stone Curlew and Golden Plovers were present.
Los Nietos was next eventually we found the Richards Pipit again. At Las Urriitas the Surf Scoter was with the Coots. Then at Lo Pagan the Common Loon/Great Northern Diver was still there a long way out though. A great days birding 75 species seen.
