From the ‘Consorcio’ (gated road near Vistabella) a Moustached Warbler sang rather quietly. Several Booted Eagles passed over – more than I’ve seen all winter.

29th February – A Pallid Swift was an early arriving Spring Migrant, seen by Stephan and Els, between the Salinas and El Pinet.
We were lucky enough to see two Great Spotted Cuckoos at the Guadalentin Valley last week on 22nd February.

In addition to Barry’s recent sightings, Dave and Margaret have also seen early House Martins back in Fomenter square and visiting old nests on 8th Feb,
There was a small flock of House Martins in Rojales this evening and they were entering last year’s nests.
Today at San Fulgencio I saw 2 Swallows.
