On Embalse de Levante (wellies for 1st hide!) – Great Reed Warbler and Reed Warbler and Cuckoo. From PFT a Tree Pipit. At El Pinet, plenty of Curlew Sandpipers (SM) with Little Stint, Dunlin, etc.
Yesterday at the Consorcio Road there was a male Subalpine Warbler (SM) many Great Reed Warblers (SM) plus a lot of Reed Warblers singing
Today at Vistabella first hide, 12 Garganey (SM) (11 male, 1 female). At the Consorcio road (off Vistabella road) amongst the Cetti’s Warblers, Zitting Cisticola’s and Moustached Warblers, there were some Willow Warblers, and a singing Reed Warbler (SM).
Today in Rojales there was a Woodchat Shrike (SM).

A morning visit to Pego Marsh today revealed 5 White Stork (SM) and 3 Black Stork (SM). While walking along a track we also flushed a Purple Heron out of a ditch. Yellow Wagtail (SM)were also in abundance as well … Continued
