I’ve had a great holiday and ended up just staying locally and discovering birds in the nearby golf course, Condado de Alhama. My species list included – Kestrel, Stone Curlew, Night Heron, Cattle Egret, Black-necked Grebe, White-headed Duck, Woodchat Shrike, Black-winged Stilt, Great Reed Warbler (see photos) plus Glossy Ibis, Sardinian Warbler and Iberian Grey Shrike.
