El Clot – Greta Owen

Rather noisy in the dry hide today, due to it being a fiesta. After the noisy ones went the birds started arriving. The Kingfisher put in several brief appearances as did the Little Egret, scratching around in the water and eating. A pair of Sardinian Warbler, Serin and Goldfinch all in the same shrub at the same time. Also a Robin appeared once but kept calling in the distance, and a Green Woodpecker was heard only. Two Marsh Harrier kept flying over. Tried to encourage the Bluethroat and Wryneck out but to no avail. When we decided to come away a Booted Eagle was over head.
