Today’s sightings at the Clot – a group of Stone Curlew, then from the new hide, 2 Great White Egrets, Pochards, Teal, Shoveler, Mallard, Red Crested Pochard, 1 White Headed Duck, lots of Coot. A stunning drake Ferruginous Duck, 2 Kingfisher, at least 4 Marsh Harriers, 1 Short Toed Eagle passing, a circling Booted Eagle very high, 1 Little Bittern, Purple Swamphen. A few small birds. Cetti’s Warbler and Iberian Green Woodpecker heard only.
