At the Clot, two male Ferruginous Ducks, and a supporting cast of masses of Pochard, Teal, Shoveler, Gadwall, Black Necked Grebe. At the Salinas: Curlew, Black Tailed Godwit , Spotted Redshank, Dunlin, Little Stint, Grey Plover, Ringed Plover, Great White Egret, etc. Palm Farm Track: zilch, except a solitary Lapwing flying over. Then the fulvescens Greater Spotted Eagle rose from the Embalse de Levante and departed before I had chance to get my camera out – shame, it was close by!
