Saturday was my last full day in Spain and I spent it around El Hondo, hitting North Gate, San Felipe and Vistabella Road.
I found another juvenile Bonelli’s Eagle at North Gate, and later I picked out a female Garganey from the main San Felipe boardwalk. Other highlights were close-up views of Spoonbill and Bluethroats, along with a late Red-rumped Swallow.
To cap off the day, got home to find an Iberian Grey Shrike on my apartment roof in fading dusk light. Another nice addition to the Spanish house list!
