A juvenile Squacco Heron showed well for about 20 minutes today near El Hondo. Other sightings included – Booted Eagle, Purple and Grey Herons, Whiskered Terns, Moustached Warbler, hundreds of Hirundines above and feeding low over lagoon. A Short toed Eagle showed over the scrub area between north gate and main entrance.
