Well, I’ve had a great day around the Vistabella Road area despite the very English weather! Thanks to you, I located the Palm Farm Track. Not much there today but I can see why things turn up.

I spent about 5 hours doing a proper count from all four hides and the path in between. These are the totals for the most interesting of species:-

Bluethroat 8+, Black Necked Grebe 3, Kingfisher 4, Western Swamphen 7, Osprey 2, Booted Eagle 1, Marsh Harrier 11, Stone Curlew 1, Hoopoe 1, Greater Flamingo 238, Glossy Ibis 6, Grey Heron 6, Great White Egret 8, Gull billed Tern 4, Black Tern 1 juv, Whiskered Tern 9, Red-crested Pochard 4, Common Pochard 46, Water Pipit 4 .
