Not really a day for birding, overcast and wet. Red-legged Partridge in the lemon groves and a Buzzard sat on a fence up pallet road. Hoopoe and Iberian Grey Shrike down the side of the monastery, with a Cuckoo sat on the wire along the bottom of the monastery.
In addition, Kestrel, Spotless Starling, Booted Eagle and more Iberian Grey Shrike. On the parallel track Cattle Egret and Glossy Ibis feeding on the goat field.
A lone Stone Curlew on a track at PFT. While driving down crane lane a fairly large flock of Golden Plover flew over. Not good for photos, I have had to lighten them quite a bit.
