From our route yesterday. As I fed the resident dog at the pallet factory a Great Spotted Cuckoo flew over. Other species included, Linnet, Greenfinch, Green Woodpecker, Goldfinch, Hoopoe, Kestrel, Blue Rock Thrush (very distant), Cormorant, Iberian Grey Shrike, Grey Heron, a pair of Marsh Harrier, a pair of Kingfisher darting about the canal, Green Sandpiper down the alley, Red Legged Partridge, Jackdaw and Serin.
When we arrived at the monastery a pair of Kestrel were mating on the wire but I didn´t get a chance to get any photo.
