My last day in Spain today but I will be back in May. I went to El Hondo and had a good day with the following species seen:- Wood Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper, Little Ringed Plover, Marbled Duck, Avocet Bluethroat, female Hen Harrier, Shoveler, Spectacled Warbler and cracking views of Little Bittern amongst other common species. I went to look for the Azure Winged Magpies but there was no sign of them. A Stone Curlew was good though.
