I went out for half a day with Mark Etheridge Last week to El Pinet and surrounding area. Not much about and the worst day of the week for light. The highlights were 3 Marbled Duck at San Felipe, 100+ Curlew Sandpiper at El Pinet, 60+ Glossy Ibis on El Hondo fields, we just saw a head pop up and down at first so we went down the track and a load of them came out (see photo). A few Collared Pratincoles in flight at El Hondo. Heard only Beeeater’s high up.
