Dropped in to the southern part of Santa Pola and El Pinet on my way back from Alicante. What a delightful place to spend a couple of hours. Impressive numbers of Avocet and Flamingo, both well into three figures, as well as an Osprey and 2 Great White Egret amongst the commoner herons.
