Had a walk along the River Segura near my house today. Lovely to see a pair of Golden Oriole near the Water Mill. Ironic really having spent the best part of Friday and Sunday morning trying to photograph them and only managing to hear one distant individual. Still that’s one of the many things I enjoy about birding. Also had 2 Corn Bunting, 1 Iberian Grey Shrike, 3 Little Ringed Plover, Mediterranean and Audouin’s Gulls, 6+ Nightingale.
