We drove past the Rollers as they were at their usual nesting place and we didn’t want to disturb them. On the way up to pallet road, we saw Woodchat Shrike, Southern Grey Shrike, Little Owl, Hoopoe, Bee-eater, Kestrel, Swallow and Swift. Round to Monastery road, where we had Corn Bunting, Cuckoo, more Rollers and Bee-eaters, Glossy Ibis, Kestrel again and then to the PFT. Here we found Glossy Ibis, a charm of Goldfinch, Grey Heron, Kestrel, Woodchat Shrike, Moorhen and Red Legged Partridge.

From there we moved on to Lo Chichara, where there was Grey and Purple Heron circling around together over head, Green Sandpipers, Stone Curlew, Little Egret, and more Glossy Ibis, all in all a good couple of hours.
