Javea – Nigel Bentley

posted in: Sightings | 0

In the scrubby land region between the sea and the coast road running from the Parador and Javea port, yesterday around 7.45pm, Sue and I had fantastic views of TWO Whimbrel looking for food in the scrub. Unfortunately, although I had my bins I didn’t have my camera. Sad, since they came within 15 metres of our seats!! Wonderful views. Also saw one Common Sandpiper and one immature common Ringed Plover there too.
