Lots of waders on the Arenal de Los Nietos this morning including this dapper Spotted Redshank, 7 Wood Sandpiper, 2 Redshank, 2 Greenshank, a Little Stint, 2 Ruff, 60 Black-winged Stilt, 10 Avocet, 3 Whimbrel, 2 Ringed, 2 Kentish and 9 Little Ringed Plovers. This Cattle Egret in full breeding plumage was seen from my patio in Los Urrutias first thing this morning.
