A superb finish to my spring holiday in Spain as Bryan, John and I met up very early this morning and went to Maigmo where the entertainment was of the highest order despite the heat, pity my pictures aren’t quite the best I’ve taken this year!

Species list – 3 Short-toed Eagles, Golden Eagle (probable), Sparrowhawk, Buzzard (heard), Peregrine (possible), Jay, Mistle Thrush, Short-toed Treecreeper, Firecrest, Rock Bunting, Crested, Coal, Great and Long-tailed Tit, Greenfinch, Wood Lark, Bonelli’s Warbler, Alpine Swift, Pallid Swift, Crossbill, Chaffinch.
