Very enjoyable day’s birding around the shores of Mar Menor today. Highlights included a Great White Egret, 2 Booted Eagle, 3 Marsh Harriers, a handful of Avocet, 2 Stone-Curlews, 2 Kentish Plover, a Grey Plover, a male Blackcap and 2 Firecrest.
