Mar Menor – Darren Wilson

I flushed I flushed a Short-eared Owl this morning on my walk around La Marina del Carmolí and Lo Poyo. Also present were 16 Spoonbill, 1 Ruff, 2 Wood Sandpiper, a Spotted Redshank, 5 Kentish Plover, 19 Ringed Plover and a Kingfisher. Incidentally, the Spoonbill (AXFJ) was originally ringed as a two year old on May 7th, 2018 in the French Carmague and has regularly wintered here in the Mar Menor area since.
