Another wander around the Clot today found us much the same species, but a couple of Red-legged Partridge by the tower were new and the Night Heron had been joined by a second one.
Species list – Little Grebe, Black-necked Grebe, Cormorant, 2 Night Heron, Mallard, Gadwall, Shoveler, Teal, Marsh Harrier, Red-legged Partridge, Coot, Western Swamphen, Moorhen, Snipe, Black-headed Gull, Yellow-legged Gull, Crag Martin, Grey Wagtail, White Wagtail, Robin, Black Redstart, Stonechat, Blackbird, Chiffchaff, Spotless Starling, Magpie, Goldfinch.
Monday 13th February
Today we took Dave and Linda to the airport to fly home so we had a quiet day with just a walk along the seafront, which proved to be rather cold and windy. We, therefore, retreated to the Clot car park mainly to take photos of Black Redstarts, although we did add a Song Thrush to our list.
